A Message from the Paris-East Philharmonic Orchestra

For many years, the Paris-East Philharmonic Orchestra, in solidarity with the Bahar Choir and itsconductor Arash Fouladvand, has been working to promote the culture of Iran and Central Asia, aswell as to strengthen human and cultural ties between peoples. All the musicians therefore wish to express their strong support for the Iranian people, who are fac-ing the tragic consequences of war, and to make their voice of cultural solidarity heard by perform-ing in France and throughout Europe. To demonstrate this support, more than 50% of the profits from the “Hezârdastân” tour will be dedi-cated to rebuilding Iranian cultural, educational, and artistic infrastructure, in the hope of a swift re-turn to peace and stability. The Paris-East Philharmonic Orchestra also hopes to one day perform in Iran and, through its musicand poetry, help restore dialogue and connection between peoples.
